My story is one of transformation. I was a high flying, successful young corporate executive, but I was riddled with performance anxiety and physically unwell. I had no choice but to get off the treadmill – a decision that shocked many people. I had a great role in a fantastic company with exciting prospects – what more could I want?!
Within three months I’d not only left my dream career, I’d also ended my marriage. I was discovering the extreme physical effects of burn out and the journey seemed all but impossible.
Like the proverbial butterfly, I became well entrenched in the cocoon. I was on a journey of self-discovery and transformation that deconstructed the persona I had built for myself, and unearthed my self-belief and confidence. Today I am happier and healthier than I could ever have imagined being, and grateful for the courage that took me on a path to transform my life.
